SSA Assam Assistant Teacher Recruitment Overview
With a view to support, strengthen and improve the quality of Elementary Education in the State of Assam in compliance with the Right to Education Act,2009 and with a view to ensuring the availability of teachers in Lower Primary and Upper Primary Schools of Assam especially in high pupil-teacher ratio (PTR) schools of remote and isolated areas, Online Applications are hereby invited in the prescribed format from the permanent resident of Assam qualified in Assam TET conducted by Elementary Education Department, Assam for filling up of following posts of Assistant Teachers at Lower Primary and Upper Primary School on contractual basis under the Axom Sarba Siksha Abhiyan Mission. A total of 3753 vacancies have been announced in this notification. Category wise number of vacancies may increase or vary due to resultant vacancies to be aroused from ongoing regular teacher engagement process under Directorate of Elementary Education. No separate advertisement will be published afterward in case the number of vacancies increase.
